Yeah, you're right. Their result tonight, or against most of the top 6 probably won't have much bearing on their season. We started off quite plucky against Liverpool last time, though. You soon find out most prem teams will grind you down. Take advantage with one or two moments of magic or great technical play, and then just seem to manage away the rest of the time left in any match. That being said, if they get a heavy tonking, tonight's result do much good either! [Post edited 21 Aug 20:26]

At least our team with all our L1 stalwarts managed to get to half time 0-0 against Liverpool

I’m glad this isn’t our first game of the season.

Better than Coventry. They'll finish bottom below Hull imo.

As much as I enjoyed the story and development of that team. I never really found it fair, and hated it when pundits or even our own fans called them League One players. At that point they'd picked up 96 points in the Championship and competed with Parachute Leicester,Leeds and Southampton. But get the point you're making.

We were at home. This is more comparable to our game at Man City. At least we had taken the lead there. [Post edited 21 Aug 20:53]

Allowing Arsenal to break? (Am only casually listening, not watching).

Not particularly. I just recall the possession stats making pretty grim reading. Still, we only conceded one!

I thought similar, he's dealt with it well but had very little he could do.

| Welcome to the Prem Cov on 20:58 - Aug 21 with 1230 views | Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | I am old enough to remember Newcastle and Arsenal that season, even at PR. I think they will go down and been a bit overhyped by a few but not sure we have that much room to say much, took Mckenna until post said Newcastle match to change our approach. I think it's probably a PAR score at HT and along with what everyone was thinking? The Emirates isn't going to define anyone's season battling relegation. | |

Really?! I think they’ve shown a few flashes tonight. No idea what it is with Ipswich fans piling into Coventry?!

Totally agree Don’t get me wrong Town would no doubt be 2-0 down as Arsenal seem energised But I can’t see their gameplan or what system/shape in transition is meant to be And also when they go deep, they seem a little loose. If Arsenal had gone up a gear there - which they have - it could have been 4
