Back 4 Greaves over Furlong 11:37 - Aug 22 with 854 viewsreusersfreekicks

is essentially the choice that has been made requiring O"Shea to play at full back.
I like Furlong as a defender. Solid.
Big chance for Greaves though

Having a left footed centre half just gives our play a different dimension and balance when playing out from the back.

Probably shouldn't be the choice. If O shea is not our best right sided CB (and I dont think he is) then he shouldnt play, as he is not a right back. Captaincy should not drive selection.

Maybe a little too reductive there - O'Shea plays for his national team at right back, he's a more physically imposing to put at full back and as proven in the recent friendly, he can also be a threat going forwards.

I like Greaves but I hope to God GON has worked on his unfortunate propensity to get tight to his man and be rolled. Dara did a lot of coverage for him.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

If he was being picked at RB by a strong international team which had other decent options, I would be more inclined to agree with that reasoning.
