I'm with you on your first paragraph - that would make it at least five windows in a row where the club has failed to sign sufficient strikers.

Agree that this is a good move for Delap. I never really much affinity for the lad. His time with us felt more like a season long loan to be honest.
The Chelsea move was never going to work. And to think he was briefly considered a potential replacement for Kane. No chance.
I hope this move works out and gets him firing again. |  |

We seem to do this nearly every window dont we. We've always seemed to struggle to get a quality, experienced striker over the line, and it affects our chances. Chase a player for God knows how long, then end up walking away, but not get the player we really need. |  |
