One of the interesting things about the championship vs premiership is the general quality of content available.
Noticeable to me how many of the YouTubers following the championship are so much more well researched and informative. Also seems to attract more people who genuinely like all football.
With the TV pundits there is less difference between champ and prem - ie they are all pretty bad. But at least you get a studio guest who knows your club - rather than the perma-carra/nev

Exactly the same as 2000/2001 season then, but now the gap between Championship and PL is massive, time will tell if they are correct or not and the huge cost of upgrading a Championship team to PL players and get them to play as a team is so difficult.

Their mate is the manager for one.
But also I remember last time we went up plenty of pundits sticking their neck on the line saying we would stay up. IIRC Scholes thought we would finish about 13th. They liked that we were new, came up with an attractive style of play and had a sort of sexy young manager. What they failed to notice was how poor our squad was, which is probably the same for Coventry.
Personally I'm fine with people predicting us to go down. Let us quietly go about our business and see where we end up. | |

Premier League punditry is pretty dire. Mainstream pundits will either dismiss you as a team just there to make up the numbers, or on the positive results we do get this season, the narrative will be on how poor the opposition team were.
It's incredibly patronising and pays zero respect to the tens if not hundreds of thousands of fans tuning into watch Ipswich.
Stick to Football is incredibly geared towards Man United, Liverpool, Spurs, and Arsenal - it's unbearable.
