| Premier League sack race 16:08 - Aug 25 with 1289 views | itfc_bucks | Who we feeling likely to be first for the chop? de Zerbi? Carrick? Got a feeling, if Villa don't strengthen, that Emery may walk or get the shove too Anyone fancying an alternate candidate? Fat Frank, maybe? | |

It'll be whoever has a shitty start to the season between now and Christmas, if its Emery, it is, if its Maresca, its Maresca and so on and so on. Too many other things to think about to be wondering if De Zeebedee is going to get binned off.

Sorry pal. I'll post it again on a football messageboard as it's the sort of thing that football fans will often talk about.

Your right to post on a football message board doesn't trump anyone else's right to think its boll ocks.

| Premier League sack race on 16:50 - Aug 25 with 1013 views | urbanpenguin | I saw odds before the start of the season that put GON as one of the top for the chop before christmas. I guess based on a lack of results after potential heavy investment. I think it's more likely to be Newcastle, Tottenham, or Hull | |

Been a bit 'board policeman' recently tbh, not sure what has upset him. [Post edited 25 Aug 17:06]

| Premier League sack race on 17:28 - Aug 25 with 792 views | ipswichtillidie | Got to be Carrick for me. They have us next firstly and when I watched the Hull game they looked poor. Slow at the back and slow in the middle. Plus it’s Man U and they will just pull the trigger anyhow. | |

Agree. Not because he is a bad manager, just won't be given the time for the players to buy into his way of playing.

He hasn't really managed. He was coach of Madrid under 14s then the youth side then the B Team for a year before talking over as caretaker for 6 months at Real Madrid. His remit was to allow the players to get on with it and not introduce any fancy styles or lineups, hence the nickname here of the traffic cone. Nobody knows if he's a good manager or not really. I have my doubts and think he'll be gone by Christmas.
