Almost any sane person on transferring from Norwich to Ipswich (or the reverse) would downplay everything, say he respected his old club but it was the right thing for him and his family … blah blah.
Nunez from day one took completely the reverse position, leaning into his newfound love for us and hatred of his old club, and revelling in his new role.
And while he overstepped the mark on occasion, it makes it easy for us to love him.
Like many I wasn’t that optimistic when he started against Sunderland but fair play he had a very good game. More power to him. |  | | |
