We got a kitten from a close friend who swore it was a male. My daughter christened it Figaro, then a month or so later when at the vet getting its jabs we were informed it was female.
That was 7 years ago, she is still called Figaro. |

So it looks like the work indication earlier is us convincing Abraham to join us. Perhaps he's hoping an Italian club might come in for him after his record at Roma or something. We'll have to see what happens.

How long can we afford to wait on him?
We have to really get a 9 in. I'm assuming we've got at least one more lined up if he says no.
With Palacios we had weeks of negotiating and selling ourselves to him, but it's getting close to the deadline. And Abraham should know about us and the PL... so how much time does he need?

Do we want someone who despite us having a useful squad with some great signings can't figure out whether he wants to sit on the bench or get regular football. It's not as if we are signing him.

Must admit I’m refreshing about 5 x daily as the lack of landing a cf is becoming a bit of a thing for us, but this does highlight the futility of spending much time following transfer options.
I’ve previously always taken the view that if it happens it happens, if it doesn’t it doesn’t, and I’ll hear about it from an alert as soon as it does/doesn’t. I’m not great at time management, but that’s an easy gain! |  |
