They've already spent €74m and €50m on two players this window according to Transfermarkt, so had the cash at some point if not still now. But I'm getting the sense Omari's transfer value hasn't notably risen and Glasner instead is keen to trade him.

After going back and forth arguing that he wouldn’t leave Ipswich and would step down with us (which was nuts to me) some of our fans are so sensitive about Hutchinson leaving.
Wouldn’t have been in the PL in the first place if it wasn’t for him, sold him for double what we purchased. Brilliant player.
Broadhead basically done the same thing in the league cup and he was much more likely to be part of our second Championship promotion campaign than Hutchinson.
So weird the shade he gets. He’s not the first to not play on the brink of a move and he won’t be the last. |  |

Class player loved seeing him for Town. Seeing people do rat emojis of him and stuff, weird.
We also needed that sale to have such a continued aggressive window last summer after relegation. | |
