The fact was that again we needed so many to come in. When that happens you are relying on those blending well, which if we cast our minds back to last season it took a long time.
Now virtually another new squad.
The problem teams have is if they are demoted keeping their best players .
This rarely happens as players want Premier League wages and football.
Some of the squad goes due to contracts expiring and they want longer ones than the club is prepared to offer or the offer isn't enough.
Revenue goes down even though by other clubs they are seen as "Privileged" by others who don't have the luxury of parachute payments.
I do think there may be certain mileage in KM thinking can he be bothered with what is a grind in establishing a team in the Prem. It has to be a combination of hard work, luck and those you have or bring in being what you think they are. | | | |

We had 5 in the box for the 4th goal conceded, and all the players, including Maeda were just ball watching. Davis should have gone for the ball but no $hit Sherlock he just stood there watching the ball roll past him to Fernandes. No one even made the effort to clear or block Mbeumo's recycled ball into the box.
5th goal conceded, zero players tracking the runner (Mbeumo) when it was clear he was the only outlet as O'Shea was man marking Šeško. The other 3 players all daydreaming is it. Positioning all over the shop.
Look at their body language, especially Davis and Greaves. Half-hearted runs. Zero effort to track and close down players. You daresay they had any ounce of fire and passion in them in the 2nd half?
