Apologies for another digital season ticket post, but I need help! 22:43 - Sep 1 with 1065 viewsBlue_Beat_Reprise

Hello - I have reregistered here to ask if any of the Good people of TWTD have the same situation as me and whether a solution has been found?

And yes… I have tried to contact the club (late July and last week) but have not had the courtesy of a response after the standard automatic reply.

Here is the gist below…

I am sadly no longer able to attend the Liverpool match this Friday so need to transfer my son’s ticket direct to him. He has had a season ticket since a young child so there is no registered contact email for him, even though he is now 18 and in the ‘Under 19’ category. He doesn’t have his own log-in account because of the age he was originally registered, so both tickets have always been registered to my account.

How can I transfer his ticket so he can use it on his own iphone?

Also, once this is remedied, do I have to ‘remove pass’ from my own iphone wallet and then forward to him via the ITFC ticket site?

Also, if he takes a friend to use my ticket, I assume I would have to remove pass from my iphone wallet and forward to this person individually rather than send both to my son?

Thank you for your help.

Have you tried setting up an account for him and seeing if he is then able to download from it? My youngest son is u19 and I set up an account for him earlier in the year when the changes were first mentioned. He then downloaded the season ticket from here to his phone. Not saying this will work but just an idea!

I’m in the same boat as you. May not be able to go on Friday as Im struggling with my chemo.

I was simply going to lend my phone to my son for the evening

Your Son has to have his own ITFC digital account along with a supporter ID. You need to add him to your friends and family (ff) list. Select your ff from the menu once you’ve click your initials in you digital account, then click forward, then select your Son as the person to whom you wish to forward the ticket.

My son has his own supporter number but both accounts are linked to my mobile and email. He’s away at Uni for large parts of the season so it’s easier for me on balance to control his ticket.

I had the same problem with the Sunderland game. Couldn't go myself but two grandsons on my account. Get him to sign in to your account on his phone, then he will be able to download the ticket on his Apple/ Google wallet.

In your friends and family create an entry for him and forward the ticket to his email.

He can download it and use it.

You will see the ST in your phones wallet then change to Fulham.

Job done

Thank you for everybody’s help and advice.

Managed to get it sorted.

Was easier by just setting up a new account for him, rather than trying to add required/necessary info to his original account.

Also transferred my ticket to his friend, who is also in U19 bracket. Half expected a small refund in relation to the difference between an adult and U19 ticket, but they don’t do that apparently!

I'm in a similar boat to yourself, both kids have their own ID but under my phone/email; again due to their ages when originally set up in 2018.

Son also at Uni so will only go to the odd game. For Sunderland I had to use my phone to scan them both in followed by me, but in the North Stand this is not easy as you still have the really narrow entry gates so the phone has to be passed down. It's a slow process.

Called the TO after that asking if there's a better way and I was advised to set up two dummy accounts both with my email address then when forwarded I will receive the email which I can forward on to my kids who can then download the tickets into their wallets.

Someone else recommended allowing your kids to access your account via their phone to download, my son tried that but it didn't work. Of course that could be an issue with his phone rather than with the system itself.

Early days and teething problems etc but I'm gobsmacked that in this digital age the solution is to create dummy accounts simply in order to pass a ticket on to the rightful holder

My son was in the same position where it was all under my email and couldn't quite work it out.

Fix.

He set up a new account using his own email which gave him a new supporter number (so he had two supporter numbers)

Once he had that it was really easy to add his new supporter ID to friends and family and allocate him the season ticket.
