I never took to the previous versions, but I may give it a look. The hype around it is off the charts though. They’re nearly up to 5 million pre-orders, and most of them are for the ultimate edition. At UK prices that about £450M, which Hollywood blockbusters could only match in total revenue. Ridiculous.
I’ve been wasting my spare time on Destiny 2 for a decade; I’m gutted it’s being shelved as I do like a good looter shooter. So I’ve gone for a change of pace and have just started Baldur’s Gate 3 as we had a PC lying around I haven’t really used yet. I’ll be able to actually get on it when the lad goes off to uni later this month.
As an aside I saw the next gen consoles, even if they release them, could be over £1,000 because of the AI data centres inflating the cost of memory. Are people really going to spend £1,000+ on a PS6? |  |

Baldur’s Gate is superb, been lucky enough to interview a number of the cast- similarly Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is absolutely immense, shares some cast with BG3 too and had an absurd amount of award nominations last year.
