EFL Trophy and 1st Team Squad Members 14:12 - Sep 2 with 737 viewsSheffordBlue

The U21s start their EFL Trophy group matches next week. It will be interesting to see if any first teamers end up playing in this. For the likes of Azor/Taylor who are coming back from injury or players who haven't had many competitive minutes it might be a good opportunity to get some playing time into them.

This didn't really happen under KMc due to training intensity but other Prem teams seem to drop some first teamers into these fixtures.
