Not a prophet, or a stone-age man; just a mortal with potential of a superman.

Heading to the top atleast for a short while if the results stands.

Surely Chelsea will come back though?

Scum 3-1 down!

Amazed and delighted by it (as long as we finish ahead of 3 teams as well).

I suspect they will fall away but it would be lovely if the one side many were tipping to stay up (Coventry) were actually the only one to drop back down. And, much as I don't have a lot of time for Lampard, even better if all 3 somehow stayed up.

I don’t understand why we thought they’d be so bad when we were both essentially chasing the same players in the summer. We should not be that arrogant that we’re far superior to them.

Hopefully they will stay up, along with another promoted side.

They’re this season’s Sunderland, it happens in football. Good luck to them.

Probably because they finished 11 points behind us in the table, won the play offs with the disruption of spygate playing heavily, hadn't been higher than 7th in the Championship for the previous 8 seasons, and were nearly relegated to League 1 just a season before they were promoted.

In short, they had a much lower base point than us.

They haven’t played a quality side yet.

Man U & Chelsea not quality Chelts? Id be happy to beat them! (And yes, I'm aware they haven't won today yet!

I think it was their manager who made the point that they were used to playing without the ball in the championship and so wouldn't have to change anything in the premier. Seemed like a valid point at the time and has worked out well so far.

You must have been the only one. I saw nothing but everyone writing them off. I certainly did. But I also thought Coventry would be pants whereas all these expert pundits somehow thought they be wonderful.

As I said a couple of weeks back, I think their transfer window was just as good as ours. Some really good signings from them.

It really does put our 2024 summer in a horrible light, or do Hull have some incredible network as well! Spending 130M in the EFL was ridiculous. Even with lack of scouting, I’ll never back down that most of that was by design, Ashton told us as much!

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?
