Brian Rankin for Forfar Athletic versus Rangers in the 1977 League Cup semi-Final at Hampden park, cracking goal having run half the length of the pitch.

i also seem to remember that Tony Yeboah scored a scorcher for Leeds, can't remember the details.

Mine is probably the Baines wonderstrike from 2004.

Simply because I was there. I was in Cobbold stand right behind it. The only opposition goal at PR I have ever applauded.

This goal was just part of an amazing summer in my life and an emotional World Cup ride that should have gone all the way to the final.

Such happy memories attached to it.

Trevor Sinclair overhard kick for QPR vs Barnsley(?) in the FA Cup(?) 1995(?)

Dean Saunders' goal against Port Vale in the late 90s (where he took a throw in against the 'keeper's back and rolled in the rebound). Hated him as a player but thought this was incredible improvisation!

You don't get quite the same "Carlos Alberto appears out of nowhere" effect that you do on the TV coverage version. But other bits do look better, especially the bit where the Brazilian number 5 dribbles past 4 Italians for no real reason other than he wants to keep the ball.
