| Quick Premier League quiz ⚽️ 19:12 - Sep 27 with 838 views | Miaow | Just one more football quiz. Unique Premier League Scorelines Since the PL was formed and football was invented in 1992, there have been 11 unique scorelines in England's top flight. This is counting, for example, 5–4 as being different to 4–5. These 11 matches and the dates on which they took place are given, and you just have to guess the teams that were involved. There are 16 clubs to get altogether. The first of these 11 took place in 1999, with the other 10 occurring between 2007 and 2023. Starting with the most recent, the last three unique scorelines in the PL have been 0–8, 0–7 and 0–9. Thankfully, our defeat at Old Trafford in 1995 has since been equalled with two further 9–0 home victories that have both come this decade. Amusingly, there have been more 4–5s (four) than 5–4s (three), with two of those four being last-minute defeats for Norwich at Carrow Road. Link: https://www.jetpunk.com/user-q | |

Fun fact: On Boxing Day 1960, Charlton beat Plymouth 6–4. In the return match at Home Park the following day, Plymouth beat Charlton 6–4. | |

I thought they had several pops at our record defeat. Refreshing to see we aren't an answer though. Got them all with 13 seconds to spare. [Post edited 29 Sep 0:17]
