Suspect there will be a big effort around everyone in the club wanting to close ranks and a wounded animal spirit. Question for me is can we show a different side to Utd game for the next match and stage a smash a grab for at least a point. Really frustrate them? Let’s see.

Agree, I see the game going one of two ways in that if City win it will likely be by 4 or 5 or we may just surprise them and nick something.

| A strong kop reaction, a citeh loss, then a relentless chorus of “going down” on 08:17 - Oct 11 with 468 views | unstableblue | … from the travelling blues for the first 10 mins on Saturday Unsettle them! Can’t be easy for their players, knowing that their efforts on the pitch are pointless. [Post edited 11 Oct 8:19]

Appeal outcomes and punishments are still three months away and, in any case, as media statements have consistently indicated, they will be doubling down and adopting a siege mentality. Perhaps even trying to accumulate the points to beat a deduction. The players won't care, unless there's a mid-season ejection of the club from the Prem and other competitions. Even then, they'll just look to their agents to find good jobs at other top-level teams.

I would imagine a lot of their big players agents would've been 'putting out the feelers' as soon as word broke loose that City have been found guilty, regardless of the appeal. As I stated in my OP, I suspect not much will change, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that this all has an effect on the field too.
