Has anyone else noticed Dara gives Bassey(?) a massive push in the back before the ball is crossed to get his free header? I couldn’t care less…… but I can’t believe with VAR this was not spotted or Fulham made something of it, win some/loose some…. Best seen on ‘Link Gooding’ video on YouTube.
“and Chaplin makes it 5-0, know one dreamt of this last night….”

He bumped into him, it wasn't a massive shove. Dara said after the game they had practice that move in training, that's why he knew he was offside. Lots of pushing etc always gone on, Dara simply bumped into him before jumping to head the ball in.

I think it's really noticeable how much pushing, even blatant two-handed pushes, have become normalised in the game. I am all for a bit of contact, barging etc. but I struggle to see how two-handed pushes are no longer considered fouls. Perhaps there have been rule changes that I'm not aware of?
It really annoys me along with a host of other infringements that referees routinely let slide these days. Players not retreating 10 yards at a free kick is another that really winds me up.
Maybe I'm just getting old and set in my ways! :(

Think you're making a bit too much of it. Not a lot in it.

I am sure there are all kinds of GDPR and other legal / copyright issues through this dude recording footage from Portman Road (and so badly, it's hard to watch). Surprised the club don't come down on egomaniacs like this.

With the amount that is on t'internet the clubs legal department would be tied up for years.

Not too sure about that. Assuming he is a season ticket holder, he has his face and approximate seat clearly on that video. All they need to do is alert the nearest steward/use their CCTV to find his exact seat and then revoke his season ticket as it is against the t&cs.
As others have said, it must be exceptionally annoying to anyone sat near him.
VAR say they didn't see the obvious and blatant trip on Maeda so they definitely didn't see the Dara push. The rumour that VAR have to go to Specsavers first thing Monday are true.
Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

And this is why var should be published and transparent rather than secret comms. Entirely possible that there was an acceptance they gat the maeda one wrong which led to leniency on o shea. We just don't know which creates suspicion.
Given the size of Bassey, and the amount of " pushing " etc he must do, he might just have thought, well sod it, you have to be prepared to take what you give out.

It was far from a massive push....Bassey felt something in his back so pushed him further forward than stand his ground as he could have done. No foul.

The other thing about O'Shea's header was that it actually went in off his shoulder. I thought their keeper looked wrong-footed on first viewing, so that might explain it.

We don't want MORE VAR intervention, do we? Especially as this usually involves disallowing routine goals. Free kicks & corners have become near unrefereeable given all the wrestling that goes on. But we don't want VAR disallowing more goals for minor infringements, unless it's also going to award a penalty kick after every corner.

Yeah I thought that too.

Blue tinted views here. O shea literally ran to him, off the ball and shoved him to make space for himself.

Obstruction is another one that players get away with routinely. Players can and do blatantly get away with obstructing someone making a run into a dangerous area. I get refs letting it go if it makes no difference, but so often it does and they just carry on.
