... what a great lad. Said some really lovely stuff about his family, teammates, managers and the people of Ipswich and Suffolk.
You really hope that the likes of SWE, Emersonn, Pala and other players that have made seriously big moves, requiring huge changes in their lives to come to Suffolk feel the love and humanity we offer here in thge same way as Leif.

Leif is the definition of a proper club man. Loves the game, basically goes all in with a club and falls for them (feel lucky that's our club) and gives everything.
You can tell he's had to work at his game to get to where he has. Has natural attributes (big lungs, pace and a wand of a left foot). But other bits he has had to work on and still does. What you get with him is the maximum he's really capable of as there is zero ego or attitude to him.
I hope we have him until he's at least 30-32. Would not begrudge him then dropping out of a champions league team (as of course we'll be) to finish his career at Newcastle or something. |  |
