Being disappointed at City a sign of how far we've come but that can change. Situations where we could have done better. Not like we've made a statement and all going to be fine from now on. But gave us belief that when we play games of that stature can be competitive.

Forest a different challenge, much better than their results suggest. Would have won matches on points.

Lukic out, not going to make it. Missing this one means he'll be more comfortable for Hull, not pushed for this one.

Late goals not all down to me, down to the players. Recruited to add to the excellent culture that already was here. All 27 of them, every day are pushing. Best group I've worked with, that gives us something to fall back on after the technical stuff. Run an awful lot, stats show that, which must make it hard for us to play against.

Forest very much like Palace under Glasner. Very low risk, defend low with a back five but can transition really well. Has been an interesting watch this week working on how to make them look the less threatening team. Interesting challenge, one we feel ready for, Portman Road, under the lights. See it as an opportunity.

Not lost to Forest as a manager, no idea why. Luck!

Facing a very, very direct team when they get the ball, opposite to Man City. As soon as they win the ball, Glasner pointing up the pitch, clearly something they work on hard and can be difficult to stop. We're prepped on it, but we have to go execute, which is the hard bit.

Excitement about home game, pressure every week. I hear pressure used as a negative sometimes. I see it the other way, playing without pressure is no good. It's a privilege to have the pressure of playing at this level.

Gibbs-White back, England international, his manager will be pleased. But they've got a strong squad, good coach, expect to be a challenge whoever plays, But we've shown we can cause problems ourselves.

When you play big teams feels different, but the way teams are going about things, physical, teams going man-for-man, set pieces, it can close the gap. Those teams will be top, but on the day it can bridge the gap.

If we can make it four wins this weekend, that will be really good.

Not sure whether Town, Hull and Cov are better as a trio than usual promoted sides. Just think about us. You are trying to bridge gap to established sides and we had a good go in the summer when we strengthened. Too early to tell whether any of the three will be in the bottom three. Division will begin to take shape.

Big if we win on Friday, then Hull. Just trying to find the right side of the margin. Focus on nothing other than how we can do that. Too early to look at anything beyond that.

Take games in batches? Batches of one. I've put no thought into Hull or Bournemouth. Only thing I'm looking at is Forest.

External noise from outside means more pressure on Glasner. But every day I have to do well, that's pressure. Love doing this.

This group is special in how hard they work, how close they are.

No problem with players having different opinions, none of us agree on everything. I don't see it as an issue.

Glasner did a real job on McKenna

Defended really low, frustrated us, PR crowd was flat. Sneaked a goal. A real moan fest by the end.

54% possession to Town. But only 2 shots on target.

As GON states Forest will have those traits. But also like Palace an ability to then create on the break and in transition. Palace had Eze to provide an assist to Mateta.
Forest will have Gibbs White returning with Delap up front.

But Town are a different outfit now. We had Harry Clarke right back against Eze and Morsy/Cajuste.

Shame no Lukic.

Very interesting to see how this turns out.

Not there today as family stuff going on and TownTV died, so that's it for this blog. Whole thing, or in this case perhaps extended highlights as it's still going apparently, later.
