Just a factual statement that Fulham have clawed their way out of the bottom three and are just two points off us now. Hence I wanted a draw, We need as many teams as possible slogging it out in the bottom six or seven. |
Hmmm, I’m quite happy if two are badly cut adrift by late winter, there will be others in the mix I’m sure of it.

| 1-0 Fulham on 16:49 - Oct 24 by Dubtractor | I'm wary of typing this whilst game is still playing, but.... Coventry have scored nil in 5 of their 8 games. Their 4 against Newcastle was a proper weird game too, with almost every shot going in, in a game they very much were not worth 4 goals. They largely remind me of us in 24/25, competitive to a point, but consistently coming up short. I'll be amazed if they don't go down. |
I think there's an element of hate watching them because of our first stint under McKenna and the relentless troll nature of their fans on x I'd say they are better equipped than McKenna's side and Lampard is more versatile with his tactics than McKenna, however I think both others and Hull have recruited better than them They don't have much of a midfield but seem to be willing to pump it into channels and play off knockdowns etc Lampard looks fairly creative from set pieces. I can see them getting more points than we did under McKenna but they'll surely be in the mix for the bottom 3 and really on paper should probably be finishing 20th

You are being very generous. They were awful today and have genuinely been. They made the mistake, like we did, of relying on Championship players without appreciating the reality of the PL. That said, I am glad to see them struggle - as a fanbase they have been particularly arrogant and entitled so to see then humbled is good viewing. Oh, and Fran tears

They spent big money in the summer (though admittedly not as much as us) and their starting 11 yesterday was broadly the one they got promoted with - 8 of the same players. If you compare our starting 11 vs Fulham to theirs, it is chalk and cheese in terms of quality. I still think they will go down with sub 30 points. [Post edited 25 Oct 9:52]
