Was pony defending, Leif’s far too tight on half way line and gets done, O’Shea is too concerned about committing but just gives him the freedom of the penalty area, it’s a wild decision for me. You have to play the percentages there and put pressure on the ball carrier. It looks worse every time I see it.
2nd was poor as well, we were unable to string 3 passes together in that period and caught on the ball multiple times in dangerous areas, resulting in a cheap free kick in a dangerous area. Walton should’ve had it as well.
2 really bad goals to give away, which was such a shame after a 1st half we dominated. Agree on the decisions as well, I didn’t think it was a foul on Emersonn 2nd half, that would’ve been softer than soft but how it’s not a pen on DOS I’ll never know, and the disallowed goal looked really harsh to me. I thought GON was too kind on that in his post match comments.
