Only 9 more games this year. 21:19 - Oct 31 with 648 views

The calendar year is flying by and there are only 9 games left this year.
With opposition during these nine games not getting any easier and playing teams that have found form (looking at Spurs), there are 27 points up for grabs.

It would be great to finish the year having amassed 38 points and secured our Premier League survival but how many points are realistic between now and the start of 2027?

It's really hard to predict with us. I'm guessing another 11 points. Maybe more if we can tighten up at the back a bit.

I think itll be a bit of a tough couple months now Im going for 9 points.

If we get 9 points from the next 9 games, taking us almost to the mid-way point of the season on 20 points, we will be absolutely on track for what should be survival in the Prem.

I think 11 points would be outstanding.
But I have quite a bad feeling about this next run of games and fear we could come out of it with 6 points. I’ll be happier once we have shown the ability to beat a team or two who won’t be struggling.

Th wins if they come will be random rather than who we might expect. I think Coventry away could be pretty tough. I’d be happier if it was our home game in this run. I’m more concerned it could be only 1 win and 3 score draws. On paper something form half the games but a dip in the win%

A few 1-0 wins at this stage would be lovely.
