| Loan and Ex Player WATCH - Somto glory! Tudor benched; Fin against giants 10:54 - Nov 1 with 2139 views | unstableblue | See below people, lots of interest this gameweek, but ran out of steam on Ex Player watch - who can you dig out? The more obscure the larger the prize (ahem) - as Al Pacino says “whatta ya got?!” 1) Boniface (Leyton Orient loan) - some great news, Somto Boniface returns from a long term injury, and starts! As Orient win 3-0 at home to Cambridge. He plays 79mins, and provides an assist, with a mighty 8.4 FotMob rating, wow. He feeds Aaron Connolly on 62mins to kickstart a fast breakaway goal. El Mizouni starts alongside our 20 year old, and is the new captain. Usually benched Dobra also makes a rare start lasting 73mins. Orient are 14th in League One. 2) Al Hamadi (Sheff Weds loan) - our Iraqi international’s host club play at 2pm today - home to once Premier League Blackpool. Their 9th place with a W5D4L3 start was deemed unacceptable at Hillsborough and manager Henrick Pedersen was dismissed - style of play sighted by the board. Matt Hamshaw will caretake today. Matt Bloomfield, Stevie Gerrard (say what?!) and Ryan Mason are some names in the frame. 3) Humphreys (Huddersfield loan) - The Terriers beat local rivals Bradford 3-0 away to cement top spot in League 1. Bradford are reduced to 10 men in 69mins, but Cam Humphrey’s loan team were already 3 up and cruising. Our Stanway boy captains again, plays the full 90 in central midfield, picking up a yellow and a 7.2 FotMob rating. Marcus Harness joins him on the pitch on 78mins. 4) Tudor Mendel (Luton loan) - Our Eton King’s Scholar doesn’t start for the first time in many weeks for Luton. The Hatters continue their decent uptick in form and move into 4th spot in League One. Did look like Tudor’s FotMob ratings were dipping, despite a recent assist. Manager Jack Wilshere starts Jake Richard’s in the right wing berth over Tudor. Richard’s is 19 making our 21 year old look senior. Mendel does join the fray on 70mins, with limited impact. 5) Leicester watch - former Premier League winners stumble through their League One campaign, with a 2-2 draw at home to Stevenage. Meaning the Foxes sit 10th in the table. Our former icons Chappers and Burns are brought into the action together on 76mins, with low FotMob ratings. No longer tearing apart again. 6) Barbrook (Falkirk loan) - Our Fin is having a great stint north of the border, albeit who knows what quality level the Scottish Premiership actually is?! (Dan Neil is a key player at Rangers for instance). ‘The Bairns’ won away at Aberdeen 1-0 in the week, to move 6th in the Scots top tier. Southwold’s finest starts in a 10 role and plays the full 90 yet again. And today at 1pm our academy product entertains top of the table Celtic, good luck Fin! great experience. 7) Ogbene (Lincoln loan) - The Imps lose 1-3 at home to Birmingham. Lincoln’s manager Tom Shaw - who picks up a yellow for dissent - brings Ogbene into the game on 74mins with a 6.4 FotMob rating. Lincoln are 16th in the Championship (1 place behind the budgie scum), Brum (designers of the weird chimney stadium) sit in a play off spot in 6th. 8) Szmodics (Derby loan) - the Rams make the trip to the salubrious environs of the Den, and come away empty handed. Well beaten 4-1 by the team no one likes. Sammy plays in the ten role, is subbed on 79mins with a 6.9 FotMob rating. Elkan Baggot - he of millions of social followers - is an unused sub for the home side. Millwall are 12th, Derby are struggling languishing just above the bottom in 23rd. [Post edited 1 Nov 13:32]

| Fin starts in the number 10 role for Falkirk v Celtic on 12:41 - Nov 1 with 1782 views | unstableblue | He’ll be trying to get past Cameron Carter Vickers! Who played for Town 17 times in the 17/18 Championship season (that’s the niche facts we’re seeking people!) Also playing the 10 role for Celtic is Oxlade-Chamberlain. An additional fact of the day - Falkirk play on a plastic pitch. Come on Fin and The Bairns! | |

| Al Hamadi and Van Oevelen injuries mean they miss matchday squads on 14:22 - Nov 1 with 1576 views | unstableblue | Al Hamadi misses the home game against Blackpool that’s 20mins in due to an injury. And our loan goalkeeper had a knee injury which keeps him out till mid December, so missing Valencia’s away game to Eiche at 17:30. | |

Yes PB, good shout - a tale of two fortunes at Stoke for loanee Ben Johnson and (circa) £10m man George Hirst. Johnson starts every week in right wing back, and delivers high FotMob ratings - 7.9 this week as Stoke beat hapless Preston 2-0 in the Potteries. Hirst never starts these days and joined the game on 73mins for a 6.3 rating and one shot off target. The £6.5m (rising to £10m on add-ons) is starting to look good business for Town. But he’s a streaky player and may still come good.

Boom! Yes indeed Keno, Kayden starts for The Bantams behind the striker on the right. But is hooked at half time following what looked a weak first 45mins, 5.9 FotMob rating.

| Orient fans BIG praise for Boniface on 18:14 - Nov 1 with 1190 views | unstableblue | Had a message from an Orient fan stating Somto Boniface was outrageously good in the referenced win over Cambridge United. Inspired to go on the Orient fan forum - not sure it was a classic game at times. But here’s some quotes on our academy product: “FantasticO’s.. Boniface, best player on the pitch.REG not far behind.” “Very good second half performance and RW’s changes certainly worked. Excellent performance from Boniface and REG joined by Gilchrist who was quietly effective too.“ “ Very good second half performance and RW’s changes certainly worked. Excellent performance from Boniface and REG joined by Gilchrist who was quietly effective too.” “ Plenty of solid performances across the pitch. Reg, O’Neill, Boniface. El Miz, Gilbert and Connolly all had good games” “ I thought boniface was different class and really everyone played well .” Promising | |

I saw a highlight where Hirst was free for a tap in but his team mate took it on and messed it up. Hirsty looked less than impressed himself! And quite dejected, if you can tell much from body language in a 10 second clip.

Good shout Shefford - he’s 21 now. He doesn’t appear as a loan on Transfermarket but does on FotMob Have no idea what the league level is like at Wellington Phoenix. With Slicker doing well at Barnett at 24 and Van Oevelen (retuning from loan) at 23, and Scherpen 26. Maybe Gray is now the young prospect.

I know someone out there who said it's somewhere between League 2 and League 1 level. I think he'd probably have been looking at League One loan this season if he'd stayed here but from the article sounds like the opportunity to go there on loan coincided nicely with the birth of his daughter. Personally think he looks a bit more rounded than Slicker - a bit taller for claiming crosses but a good shot stopper and good with his distribution.
