We have two Emmerson who has never played in the PL before and Flemming who is a championship striker with one season behind him in the PL with relegated Burnley. |
I think most people would like one, certainly a better one if we could, but you could say that about pretty much every position.
If a lot of people disagree with you, maybe consider that it's actually you who's wrong rather than thinking it's funny/worrying?

I think Flemming has looked extremely average so far, looks like a Championship player. I really like Emersonn however and think he is good enough to be our starting 9. | | | |

Are we a bunch of spoiled kids? A couple of bad games and we can buy in a 25-30 pound million striker or a Rolls Royce CB? We've spent a fortune already. Those players we want to offload won't bring in that much cash. Or enough to afford everyone's wish list.
People writing of Flemming already. He's never started and the role that he and Emmerson plays isn't easy. Lot of hard graft and usually1 or 2 big CBs hanging off them. We can't be doing too badly up front if we're scoring well.
If we want a top class defender...,could someone like Philogene be sold to bring one in? Except, Dara has not become a bad CB overnight and Diop's getting better.
And who knows... what if we could get our money back on Egeli? No guarantee he's going to be a 30 or 40 million player and I can't see him doing much this season. I think his potential could hold his value.
If we're looking to bring in money so that we could spend on quality.. I think Philogene and/or Egeli could be our best bet. [Post edited 2 Nov 15:21]
