They clearly expected to walk the league. They've beaten wrexham and Lincoln 6 0, in the play offs and only a few points behind top 2, seems harsh and strange

They seem to think they can get McKenna. Not a chance he’d go there.

Also seen O’Neil high in the betting…. Like he’d leave a mid-table Prem club to go to that car crash of a club.

Scott Parker is the early favourite, but may be a job that interests McKenna.

However, I think McKenna will wait for better, possibly Celtic.

Also not sure West Ham would want to pay compensation to get McKenna.

Think they'll end up with Parker which would be a great appointment for the championship

Bellamy could be a good shout for them as well

I wouldn’t completely rule out McKenna going there

….with Parker apparently.

Seems the obvious choice for them really.

Keaton, Kint, McManus, Fenster and Hockney.

West Ham won’t pay the compensation for McK, and he’d be mad to go there.

Whoever they get, the fans will hound him out before too long.

They think Nuno is boring, wait until they see Parker’s football.

Why do you think he won’t be interested in the West Ham job?

I can’t see a PL club appointing him and do the next best job is a big championship club which is what the hammers are at the moment.

McKenna is not too big for West Ham, huge stadium, big fanbase, if he were appointed, took them up, and progressed the club it would be a stepping stone to one of the better jobs.

O'Neil i'd agree on paper, but he has a close connection with West Ham and most of football sees them as a bigger club/opportunity than we are. I don't get the mercenary vibe from O'Neil though, seems a genuine bloke - it would have to be a silly offer to see him leave Ipswich this season.

Cue a new improved contract for O'Neill. Same happened for McK.

Probably a bit too soon for that, only been here a few months and not yet achieved anything more than a good start to the season.

Yeh hope KM doesn't go there. Soulless basket case ever since they moved to their hated athletics stadium. It's usually empty long before a losing final whistle. They need to exit their rental agreement for the London Stadium, and take a long loan to rebuild a proper football stadium. Get their soul back.

Looks like Scott Parker is all but done as the new manager and could be in the dugout tomorrow

West Ham of old maybe.

But the current West Ham, since they moved out of Upton Park are a basket case off the field.

Kieran won’t join an unstable club like them.

I think his stock is a lot higher than you seem to think it is. He didn't walk away from a PL job because he thought he would be able to get a Championship one in due course.

Taking into account their off-field problems they are still only four points off an automatic promotion spot. They have a few very good players which, under a good coach, should see them pick-up ground on the top two fairy easily.

I doubt, despite having a very good reputation within football, whether PL club will appoint him.

They have a PL infrastructure as well as a location not too far from Suffolk - If he’s offered the job and wants to return to English football, he’d be foolish not to consider it. He may want alternative routes back into management though.

I agree, I'd say its in the top 20 jobs in English football tbh, despite being out of the Prem right now. Their current league status is potentially temporary if they have a good 6 months, and on paper they could feasibly be a mid table PL side in the not too distant future. They've been in the top flight for 14 of the last 15 seasons.

Could probably make an argument its the biggest club Parker's managed, although B'muff and Fulham fans might have something to say about that in recent years.
