Indeed, would leave us essentially where we were a couple of years ago when Hirst got injured, Broja deal having not happened.
Nothing on defenders. Someone suggested to me last week we were interested in Honest Ahanor, who has just joined Palace on loan, with the deal structured very much like the one which has been confirmed this morning, so may well have been in for him, although wasn't able to get that confirmed.

My hope is reprints are saying we have other targets. Trouble is they may get snapped up whilst we wait on Flemming. Feels like it's getting to the point where we need to set a deadline - say 4pm - and if Burnley haven't agreed to the deal, pull the plug and move on.
