Ticket says you should print all tickets- but that seems to be a reference to the need to not just print one bar code and expect the rest of your batch to be covered by it.
There are also comments online saying all tickets are to be scanned so unless their kit is poor, it should scan fine off a phone.... |  |

BTW if anyone wants a free ticket for the Preston game, I have a spare. My boy bugg3rd off to Rhodes for a week yesterday without telling me. It's paid for anyway so anyone can have it gratis. |  |

I mailed the PNE ticket office prior to seeing this as also wasn't sure. Below is response so confirms the same IE. Phone scans fine:
Hi,
Hope you are well,
I have been informed Ipswich have only sent out print at home tickets to all their supporters and no digital tickets, however if you load the ticket up which you are meant to print out you will be able to scan through on your phone and don’t need to print out.
If you have any issues with it on the day there will be the away ticket office open, and they will be able to print a physical ticket for you.
