Harsh. Until days before the season, we had excellent cover in Townsend. We still have Johnson, Young, Humphreys, Clarke and even Greaves who can do a job at left back. |  |

Yeah, we still had a month to find a Townsend replacement. So why didn't we do it?! Young needs to retire. Johnson is, well, Johnson... and Humphreys isn't dynamic enough. I'd argue Greaves is the best option but that's a sorry state of affairs. | | | |
