Anyone heading out to take in the England revival in The Ashes?

WB Junior flies out to Adelaide tomorrow, taking in Melbourne as well. His first solo trip abroad, bit nervous for him but he's in the safe hands of the Barmy Army.

Insanely jealous.

Will he be wearing a Town shirt at the gsmes. We will have to look out for him on TV

Going to day 2 in Adelaide for my first Ashes experience! Travelling in Australia over Christmas so no way I couldn’t go. Leaving the wife and kids in Sydney whilst I get 24 hours in Adelaide with a few mates from work! Can’t wait

Yes, he has a varied selection of Town shirts.

Brilliant experience for a 19 year old. Win, lose or draw, these are the experiences that stay with you for the rest of your life.

Well, I'll be in Brisbane in just over 2 weeks time, then arriving in Sydney on 8th Jan.

I think I might have got my timings a bit wrong

Poll: So what do we think will happen with MM and the Aston Villa job?

There's a player from our cricket club (Nacton) over there for the 3 tests, he's there with the Barmy too

He has a massive flag, not sure all the grounds allow them though

Poll: How much for Omari

My son plays for Melton St Audrys, opens the batting for the seconds and the Sunday team, useful swing bowler too.

Adelaide is the most beautiful part of Australia in my opinion although I only spent about a month there. The grass bank is the best place to watch the test match on. Mind you it was 20 years ago since I went there and they have since put up 2 huge stands. But I think the grass bank remains.

The one thing I will recommend though is if the Aussies lose a test then make yourself scarce.

As for Melbourne I strongly recommend going down to st Kilda beach and watching the afl team training down there. Fascinating.
