We have had this season. In my opinion the team is rasing its performance levels week on week at the moment. The back four are looking more solid in open play , like many others I don't like the roll outs from Walton when we should be kicking it to half way line, yesterday we won most of those balls kicked down field . The players are now used to each other's games , and the pass and movement was at times brilliant. For the opposition manager to say we need VAR in championship was laughable, he may have got a FK just outside area , we would have certainly had at least one penalty.
Of the midweek fixtures , all 3 top sides have difficult games , Coventry are home to Millwall who beat Watford away 2- 0 yesterday, not an easy thing to do. While Middlesborough face Stoke away a day after us, so hopefully out of top 2 , because we have beaten Bristol , who hardly had a shot on goal at Oxford yesterday. |  |
