The only place I've ever played that was windier than that, was a pitch just outside Saxmundham that was on fairly high ground with absolutely no shelter at all, but Eastwood Ho was legendary for games of 2 halves depending on who had the wind at their back.

I can recall watching us there when they hadn't filled in the corners of the stands and the ball wouldn't stay still for corner kicks. Right on top of a hill. That's how I recall it, anyway.
