I guess he’s being slowly moulded into a starter still, and being on the wing has long been the place for strikers to do so before being given the keys. Clearly very talented player as noted by many amazing former players.

I hate to break it to you, but we mainly played Szmodics as a 10 or inside left and he's played loads in both positions throughout his career. Egeli played on the right at his last club. Akpom has played as a 10 a fair bit in his career. Hutchinson played for us both on the right and as a 10 and he can play both. Davis isn't playing as an inverted full back, he just occasionally takes up a more central position rather than only ever going on the outside. He's still essentially playing a wing back type role for us. |  |
