On my morning mooch around the lanes and fields I go through Thorrington church yard on one of my routes.

Anyhow just recently I’ve noticed people have planted little plants and some have planted cuttings from a hedge,and they look really dry,so there stands a standpipe and a couple of watering cans,and now I spend a little time watering the plants.

I also talk to the graves,I have no idea who the people are but I always say ‘morning’.

Funny that.

I was walking to the end of my garden the other morning and a female blackbird was on the path so I walked a little way off on the grass. And then with each step I took the blackbird hopped onto the next slab. So I walked all the way to the end deferring to a blackbird.
