Get your house checked first. The main fuse in most UK houses needs to be upgraded before an EV charger can be installed and not all EV charges are the same.
So get an electrician to check what (if any changes) are required to your property eletric supply and then work backwards from that.

We’ve currently got an Easee, and before that had a Zappi in the old house.

A Zappi would allow you to easily upgrade should you get solar panels (which is why we went for it) but we moved before we got panels.

That said, our Zappi packed in and needed replacing (under warranty - they were quite good) and I’ve heard they aren’t that reliable.

That is the limit of my knowledge.

(It was only a year or so after having the Easee fitted I realised we have a three phase power supply to the new house - that would have been good to know)

Edit: the only thing I would do is to check that Octopus Energy can talk happily to either your car, or your charger. I believe Octopus have the best EV tariff.

You should be able to see what your main fuse is yourself. It will be next to the meter. YouTube will have videos. I think ideally you want 100A, but you can probably get away with 60 (google will be your friend here)
