I should caveat that last night is the first game I've watched in full, so possibly the scores have been misleading, but I imagine the numbers speak for themselves.

With the exception of the quarter breaks which are an abomination, I think the World Cup has been pretty fun so far. Some enjoyable football. Lots of teams really giving it a go. A bit of an antidote to the cagey stuff we are served up a lot in the leagues at the moment. |  | | |
