I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but today seems as good a day as any...
Is anyone aware of what the link is between Oxford United and Ipswich Town that has led to a number of our former players and staff moving between the two clubs?
Obviously Liam Manning and Matt Bloomfield have both managed the club, but familiar names such as the likes of Lewis Price and Scott Mitchell have also been a part of the staff there as well as less familiar names!
Is there an Ipswich link on their board or within their recruitment team?
Also, repeat the same question for Aldershot, who similarly appear to have had quite a bit of Ipswich Town influence over the last decade or so! | |
