Humphreys has barely played a game above league one level, and McKenna clearly didn't really fancy Nunez as part of a 2 dm formation.
Humphreys looks a lovely player whenever I watch him, but the lack of championship loan interest in the last 2 seasons is perhaps telling. [Post edited 1 Aug 15:44]

nunez may fit the role better with gon, but still expect him to be a bench option rather than a starter.
do we still need an academy product in the 25 to name a full bench? seems the most likely avenue to keeping humphreys | |
