And the accolade for performing well against tiring defenders goes to Philogene, when he is fully up to speed after those two injuries I think we may see him preferred to Fatawu. Also, Ouatarra's brief cameo was encouraging. |  |

I agree, as you said it is understandable given his lack of pre-season, but I didn't think he had a great half hour. Not that long before they scored their second goal he had the ball out wide, and Enciso was shouting at him to turn back and just pass it around and get a bit of control back, he even looked like he refused to make a supporting run to give Philogene no option but to pass it back, however Philogene tried to take on his man, lost the ball, and Enciso absolutely laid into him. I am sure he will come good when back up to match fitness, but I do wonder if Clarke has jumped ahead of him for now at least. [Post edited 13 Sep 13:56]

Agree he started poorly but then he went on a bit of a run which carried him to the opposite side of the pitch, after that he was more or less fine, he will be rusty but once he is up and running he is good enough | | | |
