I watched a chunk of the PSG Barca game as well and er, hmmm, obviously this is "no sh1t sherlock" but the difference was ridiculous. The speed of play and thought, and literal speed of foot. And no patient build up or playing through phases or whatever, just go at it hammers and tongs. Entertaining stuff.

You must be joking mate. I've never been so bored in my life than this showbiz league where we have to get a ceremonial thumping every 3 or 4 weeks by a team we're not allowed to compete with thanks to FFP rules. Rigged, joke football and I'm going to be giving up my season ticket if we stay up as I can't be bothered with this farce

The Championship on the other hand is the most exciting league in Europe, if not the world. Just like English football was before Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal decided to create the Premier League to monopolise the cash, and then when other clubs started to realise this, changing the rules so Man City could be scapegoated...

And also - re. "quality of football". Probably the worst standard of football I have seen this decade was our game at home to Southampton in this supposed "Premier" league... Our games in League One were better!
