| Fortuna Dusseldorf top tips - contacts, bars etc 19:26 - Oct 8 with 954 views | stringy | Couple of us heading to Dusseldorf Sunday, and aiming to go to their match that evening against Verl. Aside from my half and half scarf, have no preparations made thus far and was hoping someone could provide us with an idea of a decent home fan bar to go to, where in the stadium we should try and get tickets to stand/sit, and any contacts with the Dusseldorf fans who come over here (maybe DM on that one). Thanks for any advice! | | | | |

Very traditional German and only serve one type of beer which is strong. Hint - if you don't want to be automatically topped up, cover your glass with your beer mat.

Loads of bars, mostly service the local Altbier (5% abv, chestnut in colour, absolutely wonderful). Go to any bar full of home fans in Ipswich shirts or 50/50 scarves, and you should find very friendly locals. Tram out to the ground at least 90 mins before kick off. Altbier is served at the ground, incl to your seat; no restrictions on drinking in the stand. Be aware that food options mostly involve pork. It is Germany If you only have time for one bar, make it this one.... https://www.zumschluessel.de/
