Suitable Man City punishment -they have to free transfer a player to other teams 15:39 - Oct 13 with 876 viewsWeWereZombies

And a transfer embargo as well, so no points deduction and no fines or demotions but they lose nineteen of their squad and it is up to each of the other Premier League teams which player they take (dependant upon success in negotiating wages and contract length.) Who would you want to see at Portman Road ?

No trick intended and, sadly, I don't think the Premier League would run with this idea. For what it's worth, if we could tempt Haaland on a reduced wages but long contract then it might be just what Egeli needs to lift him from very promising to World superstar for Town and for Norway in the company of a wise old head.

Anything less than that collection of cheats and fraudsters being forced into extinction will be lenient.

Great idea they should do some sort of spin the wheel thing to determine which player each club gets to take off man city.

Although knowing Ipswichs luck we'd probably end up with Scott Carson

Relegation to the local pub league with a 7 year transfer ban could be amusing.

Top three choices imo:

Semenyo- RW is one of our weakest areas
Gvardiol- LB and LCB cover, surprisingly young still at 24
Donnarumma- Best GK in the world, will be dropped for Walton after 5 games

Players out on loan to Sheffield United are excluded from my proposal...
