I think the impact on the players of the actions involved could galvanise or demotivate them. Some of that will be down to McKenna and the coaching staff to manage effectively. The saddest thing is that right across the news we are now effectively Farage FC. Clearly some are happy with that. Most of us (as far as I can tell, although some are telling me it is only a vocal minority) are not.

I know I posted it in the other thread, but I'll post it here too, as I think it is important for fans on either side to understand that, for a lot of us, this is not a binary issue. https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/2

For me, I think 1 in 5 are happy (reform supporters), 1 in 5 angry (typified by Twtd opinion) and the majority sit in the middle, surprised at the size of the black lash but unimpressed with Ashton Problem for the club is 1 in 5 angry is 1 in 5 not buying shirts etc. And I come back to my belief it will be the sponsors displeasure that seals the deal. I don't know anyone at Birketts, they've not spoken out (and won't). But I'd wager there's been some communications, same for MSC, Halo and Mr Sheeran's management There's a reason why clubs don't get involved in politics, cos it's divisive. Who knew?
