Well ... it wasn't me as I am further from Ipswich than you at the moment.

And our Captain, too, joined in, which is also a shame.

Thatās not great. But then Iām someone who doesnāt like that sort of inane tribal crap in the first place. I donāt see why supporting your team has to mean attacking someone else, so Iāve never seen the point of going after Delia. Itās unimaginative, childish bollox imo, but thatās football fans for you.

Stupid songs are part of football and always have been. I really don't know why people are getting so het up about it. They're taking it far too seriously and literally.

Out of interest, how would you feel if he'd sung "Lizzy's in a box" ? Are you comfortable with all abuse of old ladies?

Genuinely surprised that you're ok with our CEO/chairman singing this in public.

It's a bit odd (although not entirely clear he's actually singing it, as I posted yesterday)... but in the context of on top of an open top bus during a promotion party, after several beers, and with fans below chanting it at him... I can see why he'd get caught up in the moment. So no, it doesn't offend me in that context. If he'd said it in a TV interview - or to Delia's actual face - then yeah, it would be awful. But in the context it's in, no, it doesn't offend me. And I think it's offending far more than it would have done if it hadn't been for the Farage incident.

Brilliant Dollers they just want a stick to beat Ashton with.

This is the logical way of looking at it. However if you are part of the rabid Ashton is the new Hitler brigade, then logic goes out of the window. Its utterly pathetic.

| More class ? on 07:55 - May 6 with 2068 views | Bluedandy | Have Norwich City officially condemned their fans for last month singing "We're all having a party when Marcelino dies?" On derby day, they belted out this vile chant relentlessly both inside and outside the ground. Strangely, we have not heard a single word of criticism from Carrow Road executives. Did the classy or not so classy powers that be tacitly approve? Discuss. | | | |
