Someone on Facebook claims Dave, affectionately known as Megaphone Man, passed away last week.
Does anybody know him personally and able to confirm accuracy?
It's often been said that he's not been seen since pre-covid, but I did see (and hear) him before the QPR game, heading north along Portman Road... no Megaphone this time, but shouting into his hand as if holding a microphone to his lips.
Has me wondering whether he knew it would likely be his last game ☹️

Was really cheered to see him back at games again!
He was probably the spirit of ITFC during the Evans darkness. Was always there with the megaphone and that little thing he had that played football music.
I loved his rushed commentary preview of the game ahead!
Is this true? Must admit, I don't recall seeing him in years. Sat next to him on the coach for an away day once. ITFC really was his whole world. Would be a great loss if true.
