My biggest question is who is capable of stumping up the kind of money we would be looking for?
I'd assume we'd be looking for £30m+ given his contract length. We'll probably have to decide if its worth coming down to £25m to make it more probable for teams on the continent which is where the interest seems to be coming from, just so that we can shift him on. | | | |

Nor should we accept it; having paid £22m at a time when his stock wasn't particularly high & before we rehabilitated him into the serious player he can be, his value should have increased. Then you add the 'being in the Premier League' premium, plus inflation, so a minimum of a £35m package should be held out for.

I mean, think this is the 3rd or 4th time it’s been reported that Philogene will leave this summer, so it’s hardly surprising news.
I imagine for O’Neil it’s fairly simple, until a deal is agreed with anyone he’s ours and would be available for selection unless otherwise injured or ‘ill’ as per Hutchinson last summer. | |

Ok perhaps I’m misjudging their financial power then. The fact that clubs from everywhere are suggested indicates agent work at this stage. Shock horror there. My original position was that I wanted Jaden to stay, as he us our biggest goal threat, but I've now moved to 'f#ck him and his agent' and would be happy to see him go and get someone else in.
I have no issue with him wanting to move on, but whoring himself out at every opportunity jars somewhat, and I'd rather have a player who'd treat the club with a bit more respect. |  |
