Maybe if he hasn’t signed for Southampton permanently a couple of weeks ago.

This itv referee analyst is just so awful she just agrees with everything the referee or var does in every game. She agreed with the referee, the var changed it and then she changed her opinion to fit with the var.

And she said the "18 line". grrrrr

If you think we got Akpom in the summer but they found Larin in January (when apparently it’s impossible to sign strikers) and his obligation was half the cost of what we paid as well!

He’d be an upgrade over Hirst as a back up.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Different type of player to Hirst so I’d describe him as a good addition - he does look a right handful.

A good signing by Southampton who clearly have a strong scouting network. As you’d expect from a club that spent so long in the Premier League. I see his fee was €3.5m - €4m. Ok he’s 31, but that looks seriously good value to me.

As for Akpom, I thought it was a decent signing at the time with only a promotion limited commitment to buy. Changed my mind after seeing him play. For me the poorest signing last summer along with Cajuste.
