It’d have made it easier for him as presumably he’s still light sensitive. Just hang onto those HGV lights lol.

You're quite right. It is very puritanical to prefer not getting crashed into by a blind driver!

Being registered blind doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t see anything; the term covers a wide range of visual impairments.

Don’t think he’d pass the DVLA’s requirement to be able to read a number plate at 25m (or whatever it is these days) though!
