Phil/Gav – can this be pinned until 16 Aug please? Hello all You may recall a few months ago, I mentioned my nephew, who has the incredible rare degenerative disease Sanfilippo Syndrome – it’s basically childhood dementia, and is incredibly rare – roughly only 1 in 100,000 children have it. You may also remember that we’re trying to raise funds for house alterations so that he can stay at home for as long as possible as the disease progresses. And so far, the response has been overwhelming, with quiz nights, bake sales, a family fun day held at the Flying Horse on Waterford Road, and a host of other things. And now there’s a development that folk here might be interested in, as Town have kindly donated a shirt that has been signed by the 25/26 team, and this is being raffled to raise funds for the appeal. If this is something you’d be interested in, the details can be found in the below Facebook link – because the person who is organising it is doing it through Facebook, you will need to check that link before you can proceed. Secondly, I’ll put the Just Giving page for William up as well, as like it says on the Facebook link, the easiest way is to donate via that with the message “Ipswich Town” and then get in touch via Facebook with your contact details. Sarah, who is organising this will then message you with your ticket number. Then if you do win, she can contact you directly. Of course, if you’d like to donate, but not take part in the raffle, you are more than welcome to, and this will be very much appreciated. The raffle is on 16 August, and you must be able to collect the shirt yourself in Ipswich. Finally, just to remind you what it’s all about, there’s also a link below for a BBC report on the situation, along with an article from the Star As ever, thank you so much to those who have already donated. It is so appreciated by everyone, and thank you again for reading this. COYB. Facebook link:
