Interesting battle of ex-Madrid coaches. Alonso was sacked as players wouldn't accept or adapt to his changes. He was replaced by Arbeloa, the B team coach and was known outside Madrid as the traffic cone. Basically let the players get on with it and a cone could have done a similar job.
