I think they’re the one with the most potential to have a problem this season.

I agree - seem to have all sorts of issues there.

Been rumors of Sarr leaving as well.

Could be a big early season game for them when we come to town if they are winless. Fixtures pile up thereafter.

Lots of talk about Fulham but look at that Palace squad minus Mateta and Sarr. screams Championship. The manager will be sacked by November. Guess who might go in….. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Can’t believe they’ve been up there a decade completely unscathed!

Amazed Wharton is still there. I actually rate him higher than Anderson, different players yes. But Wharton has a wand of a foot and sees patterns in game. And is younger (only a year) and has loads of room to improve.

| The next two Palace games after this loss to City on 08:20 - Aug 29 with 591 views | Blue_Heath | They are still a decent side even without Saar/Mateta/Munoz but if they lose Wharton as well I think they are in huge trouble then. They will likely change manager quick if they are bottom after 6/7 games. | |

| The next two Palace games after this loss to City on 08:42 - Aug 29 with 517 views | unstableblue | We need a third team to join Coventry and Hull beneath us. And it does feel like Palace are the most likely. Difficult to tell where Palave are as Man City were very good yesterday, and Palace had more possession and better XG in their opening weekend Everton loss. They’ve still got quality. But starting Strand Larsen and Nketish up top is an indication there squad is depleted. I thought Fulham looked good in parts against Chelsea. And I think Sunderland can beat many teams on their day - we needed some last ditch defending to keep they at bay. Going to be really tight. I’m hoping with another striker Town can really perform and get 45+ points. That Fulham v Palace game becomes a key early game in this season. | |
